Seriously is college easier than high school? Or is it really hard?

I've heard people say its easier than high school then I've heard people who think its hell and drop out. I don't want to drop out though. I just want to know what to expect. I'm a Junior and I have 2 years left before college I want to brace myself for whatever may happen. Is studying hard? Are the tests/exams hard?

Bettina is right. The secret is this..the courses are no harder than high school, but you WILL not have a teacher hounding you for your work. Either you pass it in time, or you flunk..that's it. See, once you're in college, you're supposed to be mature enough to accept that responsibility. They aren't going to molly coddle you...and they shouldn't have to either.

It's very easy to me. I think it's easier in high school because alot of the general ed courses you will take are like a review of what you've learned before.

I find college to be much easier than high school (it's almost too easy).

I am, however, a 31-year old student who is much more serious about her life and prospective career than she was at 18.

In some ways, yes. In others, it's really hard. It depends on the classes you take, and wether you go to university or community college, too.

*smiles* ive onlee taken one class so far, but i loved it 'cause it wus a subject i wus realaly into. plus it was real easy going, the teacher trested us liek adults, i loved it a lot! altho im not sure if its the same for everee class aha *sweati* ♥
