I started 8th grade about 3 days ago wich was like september 4th. Anyway I don't have really any friends execpet one who is extreamly nagitive she came up to me yesterday and said that new girl is a b!itch! I was like why? What did she do to you? She said because she said she didn't like the high school my brother and sister went to and the one I'm going to she said all the prepps gp there (wich is true but I didn't wanna pis her off) So today I was thinking it would be nice to be friends with the new girl, Me and the nagitve friend were walking my lokers, and Isaw her with her little sister and she wispered walk away from that b!itch, but I wanted to be nice so I stoped and sayed hi and started talking to her. Then my other friend looked at me rude, so she gave me the cold shoulder all day today. So in l \aunage arts class I decied to sit with somone new, and that girl was her x friend becuase she didn't like her boyfrind. So she gave me the cold shoulder all day. Should I irgore

she is just one person in a whole school full of people. Don't ignore her, that will just start drama. say hello, and be nice. But dont limit yourself to just her. It sounds like you could make a lot of friends this years. Good luck, and have fun. Remember that these are the best years of your life and to make them worth wild!!!

You have a right to be friends with whoever you want to be friends with, and you can talk to whoever you want to talk to as well. It sounds like the friend who is ignoring you is too immature for you and isn't a good friend because she doesn't want you to make new friends. You can't make everyone in this world happy, so make yourself happy and do what you want, meet new people, and make some new friends. Your "old" friend can come along or not. She has the problem, so don't let her make it yours.
