That is a very hard question! Everybody deals with saying goodbye differently, even when they're sure they'll see them again. The only thing I can say for sure is to make sure that you leave the person with no doubt how you feel about them and that there are no regrets left undealt with. I wish you luck, what you're facing is not easy!!

you never really say goodbye to them...just let them be alseep...if you are a changed person you will see them again..so they are just gone for a little while...I lost my dad in 1980 and I miss him everyday...I lost my mom March of last year and its hard ...I never said goodbye even though I was in the room with her to the end...she went to sleep in the Lord and I will see her again when its my time to go...they are waiting for me over there and we will walk together again one day...Jesus Help this person to say goodbye but not so long...Touch them inside Jesus and show them they are not gone only asleep.I ask it in your name Jesus Amen. Goodluck with this and May God bless you..Hold that love one always close to your heart thats where they will always stay...

You don't have the power to heal her wounds. She has to do it herself. First, she must feel tired of living with a wall around herself that prevents her from connecting. Second, she must be motivated to change it. Third, she has to actively do things to change her attitude, like go to therapy, read self-help books, or something. Unfortunately, only she can heal herself.

omg, thats the hardest thing in the world to do! and even worse when you know for an absolute fact you will never see them again! that they are leaving you, not by choice either, but because it;s there time! you have to say it from the deepest part of you'r heart, and truly mean it! you won't regret it. trust me!

Sadly I never got the chance. My partner of 42 years, Gwenneth, died while I was overseas.

It's so hard I know. I feel for you.
All you can do is hold them in your arma and say "I Love You ." Then maybe they will take that love with them.
