okay the first thing i would do is multiply the first 3 into the parenthesis.

3(2x - 4) - 4 (3x - 2)
6x - 12 - 4 (3x - 2)

now i will multiply the 4 into its parenthesis.

6x - 12 - 4 (3x - 2)
6x - 12 - 12x - 8

now i will rearange the numbers so the X's go together and the numbers without X's go together.

6X - 12x -12 - 8

now i will add all of the X terms, and all of the numbers without X's.

-6 X - 20

done.

distribute
3(2x-4)-4(3x-2) =

(3*2x-3*4)+(-4*3x-4*(-2)) =

now perform the multiplications

(6x-12)+(-12x+8) =

okay to drop parentheses and associate like terms

6x-12x-12+8 =

perform the additions/subtractions

-6x-4

stop now that final answer has been attained

to simplify, first, multiply items inside bracket by number outside:
3(2x-4) =6x-12, and -4(3x-2)=-12x+8, so

6x-12-12x+8-combine x's and numbers, so

-6x-4 is the SIMPLIFIED ANSWER

its so easy dude.
ill expect that youre just a little kid thats why you dont know this. ill laugh at you if youre some college dude. lol. jk.

heres the steps.

distribute the 3 into 2x-4
=6x -12
then distribute the -4 into 3x-2
= -12x+8
you have this..
= 6x-12-12x+8
then combine like terms
= -6x-12x -12+8
= -6x -4

there you go. :)
hope this helps

3(2x-4)- 4(3x-2)
3 times 2x=6x
3 times -4= -12
6x-12 -4 (3x-2)
-4 times 3x= -12x
-4 times -2 = 8
6x -12 - 12x +8
now combine like terms
6x -12x= -6x
-12 +8 = -4
and ur answer is

-6x - 4

3(2x-4)= 6x-12

-4(3x-2)= -12x+8

then add the 2 components above:
6x-12-12x+8 = -6x-4, u can also write this answer as, -1(6x+4)//
