It is not possible for anyone else to tell you how it will feel. Everyone is different!
Most women do not feel the cut, the pressure of the baby's head at that point has a sort of numbing effect. I tore a bit with number two and did not know it at the time. (First child I was drugged and couldn't feel anything).
For the stitching most doctors will give you Novocaine, the same numbing stuff the dentist uses. I felt the needle but it was not a big deal. You have SO much adrenaline in your system after giving birth that pains that would bother you on another day aren't even noticed.
If you work hard to massage oil into the perineum you might not cut or tear anyway!
Good luck!

1. Your doctor doesn't necessarily have to cut the vaginal area - episiotimies are actually discouraged by some. My first delivery I did not have a cut at all but tearing as baby came out (second delivery she did cut - same doc - larger tear - baby had a bigger head and was face up). Didn't feel it due to epidural.
2. Again, I had an epidural, so it just felt like tugging.
NOTE - if you get an epidural tell the anesthesiologist if you have even mild scoliosis (spine curve) - I forgot that I have a very slight scoliosis and my first epidural did not take as well on the first go.

Hopefully you won't have to be cut when the baby is coming out. I have had 5 children and did not have to have any cuts and did not tear either. I am only small build and my babies weights ranged from 6 pounds(1 month early) to 8 pounds 3 oz. It really depends on the size of the baby and whether the vaginal opening stretches well enough. Hope it all goes well with you - if you are really worrying about this you should speak to your Dr. or Midwife if you have one with any concerns.

I had an episiotomy for my first child. They injected a medication to numb the area so I didn't feel the incision or the stitching. For my second daughter, I had a different doctor who preformed "stretching" of the vagina during labor. It hurt like h*ll when he was doing it but within an hour of having my daughter I was sitting in a wooden rocking chair with no discomfort.
You will find that the biggest problems from an episiotomy are after you have it. It requires care to keep it clean, it hurts to sit and it hurts to go to the bathroom. I would recommend the stretching method over the episiotomy. As I said, it hurts worse initially but your recovery is much faster.

1. The cutting is not noticable at that time.
2. Stitching can be uncomfortable.

There's a raspberry leaf herbal supplement that can really help if you're worried about pain. A friend of mine took it regularly while she was pregnant for the first time and didn't even need an epidural when she delivered.

It feels like heaven. That's no joke. It feels so good to push the baby out, once you start pushing all your pain goes away.
It doesn't hurt either, you think something big coming out something that small would hurt.... oh no... it's the best feeling in the world.....
And you may not get stitched. I never had to get cut with any of mine.

In the delivery room you feel anxious to pop the baby out.
1. you dont feel the doc cut it, the numb it.
2. You dont feel the stitching either, it's still numb!
The pain is after!

You don't feel nothing because of the epidural. Everything's done soon after the delivery. Everyone doesn't need to be cut or stitched up after a delivery. Some women vagina is more flexible (thanx to hubby!!) and the baby's head emerges with ease.

this is not going to be a problem if you have an epidural. If you decide you are going to go "natural"..they will give you a local in the area to numb it. But quite frankly you will be fill with so much adreneline from having your healthy baby born, you won't be paying attention.
God bless you!!
