What is a term one might use to say that you have been accepted into the cast and crew of a play? You've auditioned, and it happens you have been recruited... What is the correct term for this kind of situation? Thank you!!

you got in, you got cast, you weren't cut, you got the part....

whatever you want to say. but not recruited. then it sounds like they went out looking for you...which is only a little sketchy =P

You've been cast, you got the part/role, you got the job, you're hired... those all work.

Not recruited... that's for military people. lol
