I currently have one undergrad degree. I'd like to seek another one but don't want to have to take the same classes all over again, as I have already graduated.

My wife and I both have two bachelor's degrees. It's becoming very common. We also plan to have dual master's.

There are second degree rules that apply at most colleges but they aren't so bad.

* The new degree must be in a different field.
* You must meet all of the requirements of the new major AND all of the core requirements at this school.
* You must complete about 30 hours of new credit (not applied to the first degree) and this varies by school.

You need to make sure that two bachelor's is what you want instead of a master's. The master's may take less time to get than an additional bachelor's degree. Many master's programs don't require the bachelor's be in the same subject as the master's. In our cases, we had an "I want it" bachelor's and an "I need this" bachelor's.

Third degree rules start getting complicated and most schools won't allow a fourth bachelor's without a really good reason.

usually. Are you planning on getting the second degree at the same institution as the first? If that is possible, it might be more straight forward to get credit from the previous coursework towards the new degree. I have never heard of people taking the same course twice for two degrees although it invariably happens when you change institutions and the new one refuses to recognize a course from the other as equivalent to the one they offer. The only other complication I could think of is how long ago you completed the previous degree ... this might be a problem if it is a long time, i.e. > 10 years. best to ask these questions (and get the answers in writing) from the school you plan to get your second degree from ... good luck!

Generally, the answer is yes. Check with the university where you plan to complete your second degree. Additionally, it may depend on how long it's been since you took certain classes and what you are trying to get your degree in. For example, the sciences are always changing so you may need to re-take a biology class if that's applicable to your second degree.

However, if your second degree is in medieval history or some other subject where things do not change a whole lot, you will probably be fine.

maximum unis will anticipate you to get a level in education earlier doing a Masters in coaching. you may prepare for the Dip Ed at any uni as quickly as you have your BA however the point of your BA would be seen. all of us can get a pass degree and a pass degree does not instruct which you have positioned too lots attempt into it (besides the reality which you are going to have accomplished). different unis ought to no longer be arranged to take you on. Get a minimum of a credit or ideally a distinction or intense distinction and any uni will snap you up

Not directly, but most schools have rules for those seeking a second degree which would preclude your having to retake anything you have taken before.
