should I be expecting my clients to give me a christmas bonus at the end of the year like a regular employer??? Just a thought...thanks.!!

i wouldn't expect anything from anyone. that way you don't become disappointed in mankind.

I would think so for the simple fact that if someone can afford to pay you to clean their house they have extra money to spend. I think it also depends on what type of relationship you have with your clients. The better the relationship and the more personal you are with them, the more likely they are to spend a little extra or give a little extra during that time of the year.

The wise ones will give you a bonus without asking. The ones that don't should be given a notice of an escalation in your fees. A good housekeeper is a rarity these days and any sensible person takes good care of them.

i wouldn't expect one. some clients just view you are someone that is there to help them, if you are through an agency then that means that they prolly can't afford very much.
