Clinton cutting out most of the CIA !!! The Cole was hardly a warning shot ! Bin L. wanted to see if America would retaliate and Clinton did Nothing ! That's when he started planing 911 stating America is a paper tiger. That's what cracks me up about Liberals The Blunders Clinton made while he was in office.IE Giving North Korea Nuclear capability's was only second to Jimmy Carters blunder of all time .Not to mention the Guy was Impeached for lying!!! Knowing full well that his wife was in on most of his crooked deals and she's the top running Liberal candidate???? Liberal stupidity at it's best!

Lockable doors would not help. There were cases where passengers would be taken hostage and the pilots forced to open the door.
The spy agencies FBI and Terror Research units MIGHT have been able to find out about the 9/11, but there is no absolutely guarantee. Even now with our focuses on terrorist cells we still can't find and stop them all.
I think the key is better security, not just with airports. (If osama couldn't get a plane to hijack, he would have probably just suicide bombed the place.) Ensure that people entering do not have any objects that could double as weapons, that way the terrorist is just another man who can be easily overpowered.

well not all daths could have been elimintaed - theres always weapons to find - they could have walked towards the front of the plane and found something to use as a shank -
i would go with the lockable pilot doors - no codes to enter - that way if something happens - i hate to say throw the others lives away - because thats not what i want - but realisticly speaking - those people on the plane of 9-11 died and when it comes to these kinds of attacks their gonna crash the plane anyway - so lock the door it stays locked it doesnt open at all during the flight - they should have a fridge stocked in the cockpit - and if they have a terrorist situation they can land the plane at the closest airport and let authoritites handle it from there - it may cost some lives but thats how the american government is - we dont give into terrorist let all of america die - you know ? i just think this would prevent a lot of lives -

THe only way to have prevented the September attacks would have been to launch the Patriot Act before the attacks occured. That way the FBI and CIA could have shared the informatin they had about cells in the US, and the more stringent surveillance and airline security measures could have been in place.
Of course, the libs raise cane over the Patriot Act even AFTER the attacks, and they would have tried to impeach Bush if he had begun the increased security before the attacks.

I'm one that believes that there are no mistakes in life,
there's only lessons to be learned.
if we don't learn from our mistakes then they will be repeated over and over and over again
cause to error is human.
Blaming others & pointing fingers at others
is the coward's way
& that leads to more of the same.
Let's just hope the middle east and afghanistan gets their heads out of their behinds and steps up to the 21st century and becomes a positive force for the future instead of some ancient relic of backwardness that they are trying to force feed to the masses

Any one of them or all of them which would have been very simple to put into effect if G. Bush, D. Cheney & C. Rice had heeded the memo that Ben Laden sent to them which told them in detail what he was going to do. Their excuse was, "we did not know when this would happen".
If someone says they are going to burglarize your home, a normal response would be to "lock the door".
What does this tell you about our White House Administration?

Whether or not the FBI or the CIA shared information with each other, one thing is for certain, they BOTH passed the info onto the White House who did not act on it.

I don't believe anything could have stopped these attacks. Not realistically anyways. We were and still are hurt about it so to divert ourselves from the pain/guilt/fear we focus on the what ifs.
Same with Hurricane Katrina, the bridge collapse, the Columbia Shuttle disaster, etc.

Nothing. We don't know the truth of it. Anyway, ever heard of time paradoxes? This is kind of like one. There are too many things to take account of.
