youre assuming OR ST is the same team they were last year. they lost their starting QB, RB, 1 WR and a bunch on D...but still they have no excuse for such an embarrassing loss.

USC, Cal, and UCLA are still top tier teams, Oregon State was always considered a question mark. I'm suprised at how badly they stunk it up against Cin., but I don't think this really changes the position of the top tier teams, obviously Oregon State isn't a very good team this year, but it remains to be seen how up-and-comer like Arizona State, Oregon, and Washington do. Assuming the top tier teams have good season, it'll be those other three that can decide how tough the conference truly is.

To anybody who has a clue about football, this game was not a surprise. Cincy always plays tuff at home and if you really pay attention the starting QB there, transferred from Wake Forest. They also beat Rutgers at their own place last season. They are a sleeper in the Big East and when you get down to it, they will be in a bowl game this year.

California, UCLA, Oregon (All great teams), & of course USC (the #1 team in the nation). What was your question again? uuuuuuhhhh!!!! Also comparing last years teams to this years teams is like comparing apples and oranges, so your statement dosen't hold any merit what so ever!!!!!

Who said it was a gimme game?
As you point out, that was last year.
I thought Yahoo! Answers was for constructive Q&A, not for hating on sports teams.
