Try and pull you out. A friend of mine got sucked in unexpectedly. We were holding hands and I was trying to pull her out. Suddenly a friend of our who weighed over 300lbs jumped in and landed on her. Bending her knee backwards at a 90 degree angle. It was awful. I had to carry her, and put her in the back of a van, and drive her to the ER.

Depends if you're getting hurt. If so I'd wade in and extricate you. And with what I've got on, getting hurt myself is generally not an issue.
