I already asked this in the cooking section, but I am asking it here too since polls and surveys, is basically the most popular. And something like this wouldv'e definately attracted attention.
So heres the question P&S cheifs:
I am making a special kind of coffee and it the recipe asks for Vanilla bean and Dark roast coffee; It's like a mexican coffee type of thing.
So! can I substitute the vanilla bean with real vanilla extract (or vanilla flavor), even though I am supposed to put the vanilla bean in with the grounds while they are brewing?
And can I sub medium roast coffee for the dark roast, and just use more grounds, or would that just completely fuƈk it up?
If these seem like realy basic questions it's because I don't cook much but I really want to in the future,
So can any body help me out?
