hi i recently ran into someone's bumper on the back..
and i really couldnt pay for her damage yet but
i was wondering how much it would be woth?
there's no big damage and
only thing damaged is that her back bumper
was slightly dented in on the part where screws were
which is like maybe...size of 1/4 of penny
and little paints came off on the place where
plate number hit. would anyone give me basic info on the price? or at least an estimate?

Really, with today's modern cars it's impossible what type of bumper damage may have occurred. The only way to tell is to remove the bumper and have it inspected.

Bumpers contain material that is meant to be deformed and crushed. It's a combination of plastics and material similar to styrofoam. Even a minor accident can impact how this material performs in a future accident.

It's up to the people that you hit to determine how extensive they want the repairs done.

Sorry kiddo, anytime the rear "skin" is damaged the bumper has to be replaced.
From the dealer this will run hundreds.
BUT there is a saving grace, it is called CERTIFIT they are located across the US and have parts much cheaper that dealers and at the body shop when someone is pinched for cash we will go there for the parts painting can run a couple of hundred on top of the price then there is the mounting of the bumper.

We will replace a bumper, paint it and do blending (make them match) for around 4-600 depending on the car make..

It all depends on the type of work the body shop is going to do. You can easily pop out the dent and put a little touch up paint over that area and it shouldn't cost you more than $100 but if they insist on sanding it down and repainting the whole bumper it's going to cost you maybe a couple of hundred dollars.

Go to your local body shop and explain the situation and extent of the damage. Also try to give them the make and model of the car you hit, and they could very easily give you an estimate on the repairs.
