i take very good care of my bras, & they do last a long time. i wash the non-wired ones, in a laundry bag=the mesh one & tie them up. then i hang them out to dry , usually on a hanger somewhere.

the dryer destroys the elastic.

but i wash my wired bras, in the sink w/my shaklee detergent,it's very mild, (I Use this cause i'lm allergic to the additives in detergents, & the perfumes. SO i wash my undies in the Shaklee & I wash me in shaklee soap free soap too) that was free, ( no charge for that, haha).

i towel dry the hand washed ones, & hang them over the tub. They are the vasserette, & they're really pretty & lacy. !!

I hand wash all my bras and air or line dry them. It's the only way I've found to keep from jacking them up

Wash in washer but lay out to dry. Never use bleach, even on white bras and I wear mine twice before throwing into the dirty clothes

I use the delicate cycle for hand wash. Like Bras , flimsy nightgowns, Mesh articles, etc . But I have purchased a mesh bag (sold a Bed Bath & Beyond) made for delicates and I put my bra's in there, Do not use hot water, and try to use a gently soap, Like woollite.or dreft that is used for baby clothes.

As of late VS have turned to "crap" they are flimsy and ill fitting and still so very expensive.. I would recommend that you protect your "investment" by washing your bras in lingerie bags with all the hooks/closures fastened. If you have underwire bras get a bra baby it's like a hard plastic/silcone type ball that you slip your bras into and it maintains their shape and keep the wire's from poking through.. Wash on gentle cycle w/ woolite or other gentle soap to resist shrinking/fading and ALWAYS hang to dry.. Good luck

i wash my bras on the gentle cycle of my washing machine. be sure to place them in a lingerie bag to ensure that they don't get stuck or snag on each other. also, i air dry them by hanging them on a hanger and reshaping them. i use whatever detergent i have on hand - tide, purex, etc. do not dry them in the dryer as the heat will also destroy the elastic.

I use just Dishwasing Soap ( ivory )
& i put by a Fan To dry.
Also i wash by hand, Never in washer, They get tangled up in washer & saves them to last longer & not shrink to.

you can hand wash them in cold water using woolite (vs makes a hand washing detergent too, smells awesome but expensive for detergent). then hang them to dry. however, i wash mine in the washing machine in cold water and hang them to dry. but i've found that this causes the underwires to come out and for some of thier underwear it makes them unravel around the edges.
