there was this kid at work and he didn't know how to work the register. so BEFORE he even started ringing the customers up he would say "just so you know, im never up here." so me and my friend said we're gonna make him a sign that says something like I DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING.. but it was a one word phrase. What is a one word phrase for someone who makes excuses for themselves? we think it starts with a p but we're not sure. and its a sophisticated word. PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Befuddled might be a good word to use too, or mMystified or bewildered.
Nonplussed is another one but I am not sure most people would know it.

you can say Hi i have gasophobia .that means i am very lazy.
gasophobia means fear of work
