first you have to solve for Y

(subtract 2x)
-3y=-2x

(divide by 3, it changes to positive because -/-)
y=2/3x

start at (0,0) because there is no Y intercept

then from there, the slope is 2/3 which is rise over run so go up 2 and right 3. the next point will be (2,3)

then connect and continue

I hope that I helped! =)

2x-3y=0
or,2x=0+3y
or,2x=3y
or,x=3y/2 (equation 1)

now put any value for y in eq. 1 so as to get a whole number

like
if y=2,x will be3
if y=4,xwill be 6

thus two coordinates r (3,2) and another is (6,4)

Convert the equation to the form y = f(x) = ...

Such as, y = 2/3 * x = 0.67 * x

Then use a TI-93

Try to change the 0.67 above. Notice the graph is always a straight line with a different slope.

(For extra credit, try to graph y = 2*x -5, the graphing tools will soon show you how these equations are working. Try changing the 2 and the 5 in this example equation.)

Or use an online graph tool such as ... (WARNING: SPOILER)

Transpose: 2x = 3y
Now make a chart of values:
x = 3, 6, 9,
y = 2, 4, 6,
Use these points to plot your graph.

you need to get it in to y=mx+b

so...

2x-3y=0
-2x -2x
-3y=-2x
divide by -3
y=2/3x

so start at the orgin (0,0) and make a point because the y intercept is 0 cus there isnt anything there. then count up two spaces and over three and mark the next point. make the line.

2x-3y=0
-3y = -2x
y = 2/3x

x and y-coordinate is 0, gradient is 2/3

Just graph it..

set it up in y-intercept form
y = mx + b

2x - 3y = 0
2x = 3y
y = 2x/3
y=(2/3)x

slope = 2/3
y-int = 0

y= (2/3)x-----> y = mx + b, where b=0 m=2/3

A line with a slope of 2/3 no shift.

it's a little easier if you put into the slope-intercept form
2x - 3y = 0
3y = 2x
y = (2/3)x
