Yes. The male actually sleeps most of the day, unless he's ::ahem!:: _busy_ with the lioness. It is usually the lioness who hunts. Sometimes this occurs at night. but that lazy man lion is totally asleep. typical.

I think they sleep most of the day unlike next door's Jack Russells that bark most of the day. I really must introduce them to the business end of a garden fork.
