Launder your shoes with a load of towels... Use regular laundry detergent and add 1/2 c. of baking soda to the wash water.. .It will make any odors disappear ! Then let them dry out in the sun.. Wear socks to work and alternate between shoes and let them air out... Or leave them on the porch to freshen in between wearing.. If you have a pair of shoes you love get two pairs to switch back and forth.... Or get a pair of cheapie "outdoor" only shoes you can just throw away when they get NASTY !!! Good luck

First you need to wash your tennis shoes and let them air dry. Most people wear them and wear them until they're worn out and never wash them. Then coat the inside of your shoes with A LOT of baking soda and them stuff them with crumpled up newspapers. Let them sit like that over night and the odor will be gone without using chemical sprays etc. Oh yah, you, your shoes and your feet would benefit from a good pair of perspiration wicking socks. Ask the staff at the shoe store or health store. Good luck.

If you use a good foot powder on both your feet and inside your shoes the odor will go away. I use Desenex foot powder in my shoes, boots every day. Have do so since in the AF back in 1959 and have never had a foot odor problem or boot/shoe smell. Also keeps your feet healthy.

Mix white vinegar, 1 cup 2cups of water and dawn dish detergent and a small nail brush and scrub them, Rinse them an you will have clean shoes, and they will smell great. If you need to dry them in the dryer add two large towels, so then don't keep banging all around, or just put them out in the sun.

Try putting about half a cup of baking soda in each shoe, put in a bag and let sit overnight.
Put them in separate bags, if you feel it would work better.
Then put some vinegar on a cloth and wipe the outside of the shoes with that.
Repeat if necessary.
