and What about the name Ocean (for a boy) - is it good for a first or middle name and what name should go with it?

Both are really sweet names, i'd probably have a slight preference to Evelyn, just because of the connotations to Marilyn Munroe.
Middle names starting with "V", "L" or "I" will flow well with the middle sounds in Evelyn. Similarly, names starting with "A", "R", "L" or "I" will flow well with the middle sounds in Marilyn.
You could try something like:

As for Ocean, its an interesting name. I don't mind it, but its a rather feminine name for a boy, with little nicknames to come from it. But, its a nice enough name and it is your son.
Middle names starting with "E" would flow well with the middle sounds in Ocean.

My grandmother-in-law is called Evelyn and its a beautiful name. My girlfriend's name is Yvette and we call her Yvie too.
I don't like Marilyn though, sorry :(

Evekyn is sooo beautiful! I'v loved that name ever since I first heard it and now I think it's the most beautiful name EVER! Lol. Marilyn is very pretty too. And I absolutely LOVE the name Ocean for a boy! It's sooooo creative and PERFECT! Lol. Anyway, Evelyn Josephine or Evelyn Jeannette or Evelyn Camille or Evelyn Alea are pretty. And for Marylin how about Marilyn Tanea or Marilyn Camille or Marilyn Jeannette. Lol.
For Ocean I would suggest Ocean River, Ocean Taylor, Ocean Ryan, Ocean Stride...lol. Thats all I could think of. Hehe.

I don't like Evelyn (only because it's my cousins name)
I do know someone who has a boy named Ocean. I think Ocean Marcus or Ocean Nathaniel is nice.
Marilyn Renee is pretty or Marilyn Nicole.
I agree with you on the Ann and Lynn. My name is Jennifer Ann and my sister is Jamie Lynn. I think in the 80's Ann and Lynn was VERY popular! Congrats by the way!

I like Evelyn Reese, and I think Ocean would be a great middle name. I think that's the best place to fit in a unique name because if the child doesn't quite care for it, they don't have to go by it on a daily basis.
