My boyfriend is currently being held in jail, I am 9 months pregnant and have begun pre-labor, I dont have much time to get him out. I need to know what the best format to writng a letter to the judge to provide mitigating evidence. He is facing a probation violation and a DUI charge, 2nd offense. Please any information will be very appriciated!! Thank you :)

I suggest you format it as a polite business letter. However, there is no set format that you need to use, as far as I am aware. The court however may have rules about this! Ask an attorney for help.

Do you really want your boyfriend to be a part of this baby's life? After all, he violated his probation and got a 2nd DUI. That seems to say quite a bit about him....

Just write it as a regular letter to the judge. Use a word processing format if you have further questions.
