I'm due to get my period on or about the 13th. According to a fertility charter, I was fertile the week ending Aug. 28th. I had unprotected sex at least once during that week. Yesterday and today I had some cramping (not too bad- like a mild to moderate period cramp) and I've had quite a bit of white discharge the last three days. Last month my period came a week early (I still don't know why) so I have no idea how messed up my cycle is. I usually have some discharge b4 a period, but not this much. Does this sound like an infection, a period coming early (again) or something else? I don't want to get myself worried for nothing.

o.k. first sperm can live inside of livable conditions (up to 5 days) which is the week of ovulation when you are more likely to get pregnant. the cramping you are experiencing could be implantation and the discharge also sounds like a sign of pregnancy. i suggets you do a pregnancy test top be sure that you are not pregnant. if it is a infection it would have some kind of smell to it and it would itch or burn down there. all in all i suggets you go to your DR.

I'd start testing in about 10 days if your period doesn't show up. A bit of cramping is ok, white discharge not alarming. If it was an infection, the discharge would look like pus--yellowish-white to yellow-green, and you should have other symptoms, like itching, pain, lots of cramps, etc.

Are you trying to get pregnant?

It sounds like you are pregnant, I dont think your discharge is an infection. Have you had any spotting or sore boobs? Both are additional pregnancy signs.

good luck

Definitely an infection. Beware!
