Best friends make best lovers - you know him - good and bad, and he knows you. Would you rather date your enemy? Good luck!

I dated a close friend once and it ended and when the relastionship ended so did our friendship. It seemed to start a small chain reaction as well with other friends. They chose sides and such. However, as where you stand to lose a lot you could gain much more with dating someone you already know and trust. The friendship is already there, so all you can do is build upon it.

I met a girl our first week of college. She wouldn't go out with me (another story) but we became friends. She became serious with a good friend of mine and fixed me up with a good friend of hers. We were friends and partied together all thru college. 3 yrs after college, we ran into each other. Went out for a drink to catch up. We had a great time. started going out, became BEST friends, fell in love and married. What we were both looking for was right there in front of us. That was 41 yrs ago, and we are still married and still best friends. We are big advocates of best friends marrying each other. We see people doing things to their spouses that they would never do to their best friends

do it ONLY if you are prepared to lose the friendship, you will find as you get older, that boys only think of girls as sexual partners...once you have become one, they will move on eventually or right away. keeping a friend means keeping your pants on! friends don't do friends!

ask yourself if it's worth risking your friendship b/c chances are if it doesn't work out you'll lose him. seems like if he was interested he'd of made a move by now
