Ah yes the muscle cars, the Mustang , the Corvette, GTO, Ferraris, Jaguar XKEs.
Music probably the most creative era in music, starting with singer songwriters like the Beatles, Paul Simon, the beginning of the concept lp with the release of Sgt Peppers Lonely Heartclub Band. FM music becoming more popular than AM Top Forty. The summer of Love in San Francisco. The widening gap between the Boomers and their Parents. Viet Nam, the women's movement, the civil rights movement.
The assassinations of JFK, RFK and ML King Jr. Psychedelica , the supposed double meanings of songs whether you played them the right way or backwards.

How things haven't changed that much in over 40 years. This country is still as divided as ever, an unpopular war is going on, there is a serious drug problem, and poverty still exists. What's more, the hippies became just like the parents they were rebelling against.

first love. first joint, first hit of LSD. peace. protests against the war.in Washington D.C.went there many times,My first car,1959 Chevrolet impala convertible.then later a 65 mustang pony convertible,.first everything,i sure miss those ole hippie days and my friends and the good times.mind control courses, yoga, school.meditation, camping ,running naked thru the woods, skinny dipping.the lake, the ocean, traveling, The music ,playing guitar in clubs and singing, making up songs,learning chess,communes. free love.no diseases,to catch you cant get rid of.people were more at peace with themselves, not so much anger and violence.I cried though when the Kennedy's were killed..

Talk of long time back i.e. 37 yrs. Difficult to recall yet I can say some times during that decade TV started functioning for the first in my country. This is what I can recollect of then distintly.
