The White Sox had a game that lasted less than 2 hours this season. I went to a Red Sox game last month that went 4:05 for 9 innings. If the game is tied and goes into extra innings, the game continues until one side wins. In playoff and World Series games, the games go even longer than usual during the regular season, possibly to accomodate additional beer commercials between innings, but the average regular season game is about 3 hours.

It mainly depends on the game but a standard game goes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Depends on if their are any rain delays, how long each inning goes (some go longer than usual because of a pitching change, an injury, or a team just getting lots of hits), and also if there are extra innings. The longest game I've seen is like game 4 (I'm not sure) of the 2005 world series between the Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox. That game I believe started at like 7:05 and went untill something like 1:30. It went I believe 14 innings. But anyway, it was long.

Usually around 3 hours, unless it goes into extra innings. A game that last 2-1/2 hours or less tends to be considered short.

Anything under 3 hours now days is a fast game unless Mark Burele is pitching then just over 2 hours

Most games lat to 2 to 3 hours
some games like Yankees vs. Redsox might be
a little longer with more runs.
