You have the right to do what you are told and keep your mouth shut.
Now the Miranda rights don't come into play until questioning.
Despite T.V. and movies the police do not have to read you your right when arresting you.
They only have to read your right when you're being interrogated.
NCIS is a whole different ball game though, they lie, they threaten and make false statements on your behalf. They are the most crooked group of Law enforcement in the country.
Just keep quiet, be respectful and ask for a lawyer weather you did it or not. Especially if you are innocent.

A person who is arrested has the following rights:
1. The right to have an attorney. If he or she is indigent, they have the right to NOT PAY for one, but instead have the state foot the bill. However, if they aren't indigent, it must come out of their own pocket.
2. The right to be silent. This is a 5th Amendment right; the right not to self-incriminate. Caution: You CAN waive this right completely by talking.
3. You have the right to be informed of your rights! (This is what Marandizing someone is all about.)
4. You have the right to due process. This is granted by the 14th Amendment.
5. You have the right to a trial by jury, if the action gets that far, in ALL criminal cases. This is a 7th Amendment right.
