A cutting bar to cut the grass.
A rotary rake to rake the cut grass into a windrow.
A baler with baler twine to bale the hay.
a four wheel hay wagon to transport the bales.
a barn to store the hay, to keep it dry and well ventilated.
a bale elevator to help lift the bails as your barn fills.
a couple of tractors to run all this.
If you are inexperienced, I would contact an experienced person and include them in the process.
It is very hard, heavy work.
Plus there is a good deal of equipment involved here.
Plus weather, and obtaining proper moisture content can be tricky. You may need to have the hay dry out if it happens to get wet and you many need to rake it to help dry it and you can develop spontaneous combustion in storage if moisture content is too high and air circulation is low.
Your best bet would probably to work out some sort of arrangement with a farmer. I wouldn't attempt it until you get a good deal of experience helping someone else bail their hay.

One of the responders has a good point. Although cutting, drying, raking and baling seems simple and straight forward the equipment is complex and heavy and the chance for injury is great and equipment damage can result in high costs. It might be an idea to have your hay done on contract or customed where your haying is done in exchange for a portion of it. You need to get experience before you go it alone. And if the custom hayer will help by teaching you it would be well worth the cost of the first year.

A hay baler would be a good start. And I wouldn't trust a guy who would pay $800 bucks for a rake.
