Just became one nation we would still be the USA just with mexican states joining the union and having them change all their things to our things would it not be much better, mexican pesos could be changed into american dollars, their goverment would be changed to ours, spanish could be accepted while they learned english or both could work out, i would not need a pass port to go fishing in baja, they would get better wages, and rights some of theif laws could stay in effect in their states while influence would get there by that i mean since thewy would be getting paid by our laws the corruption would go down and so forth it would work right?

or could i be wrong

I've given this some thought and I believe in my opinion that the good would outweigh the bad. It's true that there would be better wages, government, ect ect. But at the same time, the native Mexican culture would diminish, more so than it already has. Regarding some opinions on racism and violence against people of Mexican culture and vs. versa, there will always be racism and violence no matter what country you reside. Humans are animals and they each carry there own opinions regarding there fellow mammals. These opinions will always clash regardless of age, race, color, sex, ect ect ect. So perhaps yes it would be a good idea to join Mexico and America as one unit country, but the only thing that will change for the better is wages, job opprotunities and government, give or take a few. Good or bad, it's all a matter of opinion and who is giving it.

We might as well.I see so many people walking down the streets waving Mexican flags and wondering why they aren't being treated like U.S. citizens. They come here to get away from Mexico but then want us to be like Mexico. If that's the case then why did they leave Mexico. If we took the place over then we wouldn't have to worry about treating them like U.S. citizens because now they are U.S. citizens and we won't have to worry about trying to make us like Mexico because it will now be the U.S.

Under the Constitution of the United States, Mexico could petition to become a state. They don't seem to want to.

well now, doesn't that sound like a plan.

you can start things off by sending a letter to the president of mexico and ask him when he wants to stop being president and when their government will step down.... then ask him how and when they will incorporate their treasury into that of America.

in short it is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard.

something a flower child or a third grader would come up with.

besides one fishing spot, what could mexico contribute to our economy. Besides a HUGE un-employment rate, massive poverty, little to no educated workers. It is a wreck.... the SMALL amount of tourism dollars in insignificant. and you are mildly retarded for thinking we could benefit anything from mexico

America wouldn't have anyone to pick our crops then? Its never a good idea for one country to rule over another.

That's too big a mess for us to try to clean up. Now I wouldn't have a problem with Canada though.

What would you think of us becoming part of Mexico? When you say no then you know what Mexico would think about your statement.

The southern region of this country remains too ignorant to join with Mexico without heated racism and probably violence.
