No worries. My 3 all got their first teeth around a year. They were talking before they had teeth.
If teething is bothering her, follow the normal remedies. If that doesn't work, call the doc. Some stuff has to be waited out, like drooling and chewing.
Crying and pain could be a different problem, so you have to call anyway to be sure. Rubbing down on the gums with your finger can help, tylenol (but call doc for right dose and how long), frozen toys, etc.

Nah, don't worry. Mine did the same thing. She was whiny and drooling and chewing on things for several months, but no teeth. Then just before she turned ten months, she had two pop out within 24 hours of each other. Then three weeks later, two more. Now she's 13 months and has 8 teeth. Some kids start getting teeth really early - but it's not really a bad sign if they don't.

I would not worry to much. My roomates son he was teething forever I mean it got to the point where his gums were bruised and u could see teeth wanted to come and just would not. They went to the dentist and has an appointment to have them cut open and the day before all of a sudden he had about 6 teeth come in. He was almost a year. They come in at anytime. Some get them young and some late. If you are worried you can always ask the pediatrition.

All babies move at different rates, so don't worry. I worked in a daycare with infants and one baby had two teeth at four months! Another, on the opposite side of the spectrum, was thirteen months and the first one just popped up. Just relax, and don't compare your daughter to anyone else's! Listen to your doctor's advice and your gut instincts. If you are REALLY worried, ask your doctor about it, but I'm sure she'll tell you the same thing... Babies are all different.

No need to worry at all. We all get teeth. It is also completely hereditary as to when we get them (except in cases of extreme malnutrition). There are some babies who don't get their first tooth until after their first birthday. Many doctors feel like they are better off as well, because they don't ahve to go through all the teething issues when they are so little. Teething "signs" are also kind of like pregnancy symptoms -- they are meaningless until the teeth show up. Babies get cranky and babies drool and like to suck and chew on things and those are all signs of teehing but they are also just ways that babies are. Don't worry; your baby will get teeth soon!

my youngest child didn't cut teeth until she was 12 months old. i was worried because my first daughter cut her first two teeth at six months and my second daughter cut her first two teeth at four months. the pediatrician told me that some babies are not born with any teeth and have to be fitted for dentures!!! i flipped out. he told me if she didn't have teeth my a year, she'd need to get x-ray ed to see if she had teeth!!! she finally did start to cut teeth by 12 months, and they all seemed to come in at once! don't worry, the doctor said baby not having teeth is very rare. ask your doctor.

Everything is fine- my daughter started teething at 4 months. Now at 12 months she has just started to get two teeth.
I know that seems like forever, but they will come in. Don't worry.

Our niece didn't get any teeth until she was almost a year old. One of our sons started getting teeth at four months! I don't think there are any hard and fast rules. If you are really concerend, talk to a pediatrician....but I think they will just tell you to play the waiting game.

Ahh, teething...every baby is different. I just went to a mommy and me group on Thursday and there were several one year olds there without teeth. So, not to worry, she'll get them eventually. In the meantime, enjoy that toothless grin :)
