Mia is fine, but there are so many longer names it could be a nickname for. Especially with such a common last name, I'd be really tempted to use a more formal version simply to give her options. If she has another Mia -- or Mia Johnson, in full! -- in her class, for example, she can choose to use the full name. Emilia, Emelina, Matilda, Madelina, Mariana, Meliora, Michaela, Milena, Minerva, Marina, Milana, Miriam, Damiana, Demetria, Noemia, Camilla ... heck, even Magnolia! Options are never a bad thing. ;)
Jolie is a bit too Hollywood for my taste, and the flow of _____ Jolie Johnson is a little harsh to my ear. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of alliteration to begin with (my parents gave me an alliterative name because they thought it was "cute," and I couldn't wait to legally change to my married name LOL), but double Js are a particular pet peeve. Always get that "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" reel spinning in my head, so it comes across as comical by association. Sorry ... not one I can help! LOL And now it's stuck on repeat (oops!) ...

Mia is really cute but I'm not liking Jolie. How about Mia Julie Johnson or Mia Kate Johnson?

Thats a pretty name.. The best part is the Jolie, which many people won't hear after her second year in life.. There are already alot of Mia's in the world I think you should be a little more creative/unique about her first name..

I don't like Jolie. Mostly because I can't stand angelina jolie. Jolie Johnson is a lot of J sounds.

Jolie will probably "date" her, as in 40 yrs from now she wont be able to lie about her age because everyone will associate her with being born when Angelina was popular

i like the name. it works seperate, or as a double-name. plus i know girls who go by MJ, which could also be the case. still, it wouldnt hurt to have back-ups
