I bought a motherboard with crossfire chipset and my graphics card is not Radeon but Geforce. Crossfire is made for Radeon. SLI is made for Geforce. Will I have any problems with a Crossfire motherboard with a Geforce graphics card? Will my Geforce 8600 be able to reach maximum capabilities with this Crossfire motherboard? Is there a way where I can convert the motherboard to SLI?

YES on single card basis BUT a BIG NO on SLI basis. No way to convert that board to SLI except a trade-in for an SLI board.

OR you could give it a try and probably tell us all about your experiences (wonderful & miserable).

No, I do not think there will be any issues installing (1) Geforce 8600 onto that motherboard, if it is a crossfire board.

I can't say the same thing if your trying to install 2 Geforces, because then its SLI, which probably is not supported by your board.
