That guy last night complaining about the Muslim prayer rugs, I wanted to ring his neck out.

I love what McCain said, torture is wrong and the other people on the stage who never served a day are the ones disagreeing with me.

I prefer Biden from the Democrats, but he won't get the nomination, so me, I'm hoping for some McCain from the Republicans to vote for in 2008.

Waterboarding, disgusting.

Scared shitless my dear. I respect McCain as a person but I don't want him to be President. I personally like Kucinich a lot, but an Obama-Edwards ticket or even Obama-Clinton I think would be really good.

For those of you who think waterboarding isn't torture:
I challenge you to do it. I have been "waterboarded" at a demonstration of what it is. You feel like you are drowning, there is no way you would be able to know that you weren't. It doesn't feel fake.

And if someone had actually been holding me down (like they do for real at Gitmo) I would have been even more terrified, and quite ikely physically harmed.

Psychological abuse is real abuse. (Not mention stress positions and sending people to other countries to be tortured- see Maher Arar's story).

America condones torture because of Bush and his lawyers, and it is a disgrace. The ironic part is it is completely unreliable and useless, useful information is almost never gained. The ticking time bomb scenario doesn't exist and has never been played out, instead you have 15 year olds at Gitmo admitting to being Osama bin Laden in an attempt to stop being tortured.

Have you all no humanity?
Shame on all of you who dismiss it, for tarnishing our Constitution and values.

Unfortunately for you, McCain has no more chance of getting the nomination than Biden - his campaign is imploding.

Don't lose any sleep over second-tier candidates, they're strictly there to pull in support from the fringes of the party.

I have a lot of respect for John McCain's service to the country and what he endured in Vietnam.

However, I think his remark is silly. Waterboarding does not kill anybody, it does not disfigure them. If there is a situation where it is vital to our security and waterboarding is the only way to get information from a suspect/detainee, I am all for it.

Waterboarding isn't torture. It's completely and 100% nonlethal and nonpainful.

In case you didn't know, here's what it is.

They strap you to a board and raise your legs slightly above your head, cover your mouth and nose with plastic and then pour water on it. It simulates the sensation of drowning without the risk of ACTUALLY drowning. You absolutely CAN NOT die or even be injured from it. Just scared shitless :)

If that's "crossing the line" I'd really like to know where the line is.

After the past seven years of extremely poor leadership, its time for change. Unfortunately party loyalists would rather see a lousy leader from their party before a not as lousy leader from anywhere else.

The GOP is running two slates, the GOP slate and the "Independent" slate.

Too bad they will split the rep vote and guarantee Hillary's win.
