Ok, i want to know what some of your favorite PS2 games of all time are, any why? I'm not looking for sports games, or anything like that, so please leave them out.

Final Fantasy 10
Dragon Quest 8
Final Fantasy 12
Dark Cloud 2
Best action/adventure for the PS2:
Resident Evil 4 (more of a horror/shooter)
God of War
God of War 2
Shadow of the Colossus
Any of the Ratchet and Clank series

Metal Gear Solid 1-4 (it might only go to 3 for ps2)
Splinter Cell
Guitar Hero 2 (its so much more fun than it sounds...trust me)
Crazy Taxi is a blast...you can probably get it for like $5 at a video game store.

id suggest final fantasy series if yu havent played em yet but start from like number 10 there real good and um if yu like shooting and action i suggest conflict games there good and real good playin co-op with a friend,grand theft auto games are good also,but for me im into the sims so if yu havent tried sims 2 then i suggest giving it a try yull like it,yu should also try the metal gear series like the guy says but for ps2 theres only 2 and 3 those games are good 2

devil may cry series (3 is the best!) its action..
san andreas always fun
final fantasy x the best final fantasy i no..
smackdown v.s. raw 2007 espically fun wit friends
guitar hero 2 it can keep ya entertained
dbz budokai 3 (my favorite out of all the dbz games)
tekken 5 pretty good....
theres prince of persia......
theres kingdom hearts
i've played splinter cell b4 its preety fun..
ma friend said that he liked naruto chronicles 2. i think that was its name.. but yea he said dat. ...
n yea.. thats pretty much all i could think off... right now.. so yea i would probaly say that above is like action/adventure n splinter cell is like the only 1 thats like stealth type..

God of War 1 & 2 ... you will reallly get in to the story line and have nice fighting style, it is different than the normal slash your sword fighting games 'cuse instead of slashing your sword, you are throwing them at your enemy while they are on fire and attached to chains that are seared to your flesh.
