It was okay, I haven't seen it done in that view frame before of leaving our galaxy at the speed of light and I have never heard of the chain and other constructions out at the 10 billion year level, but we only have to look out through the Hubble Space telescope to see millions of light years away.

I have been seeing similar things on the History, Discovery and Science Channel for years. It is good to see it on U-Tube, maybe it can increase the intelligence of the average person a little; SPACE IS HUGE, and our place in it is tiny, so small that it is hard to think of.

The only error is that the universe is dynamic and changing. If you came back to the Earth in 10 billion years there wouldn't be our old friend Sol, only a small white dwarf. The Milky Way would have long ago been absorbed by the on-rushing Andromeda Galaxy, hang around 2-3 billion years for the collision.

I am glad that it shows the right order; solar system, galaxy, galactic group. I have seen some many people who think our galaxy is the size of our solar system; they have no idea how vast the universe really is. Now that you have watched this video you have an idea.

Readers should give your question a star just for pointing this video out (I did). Now when you think of all the possibilities in the universe you see just how much space there is for it.

Do your remember that schematic of the solar system. It has been speeding away from us for 40 years and the Voyager Probes haven't gotten too much further out than Pluto. Until just last year they were the fastest moving man made device ever created and they haven't even entered the gulf between our star, Sol, and the nearest star Alpha Centauri.

Hi. Reminded me of "Powers of Ten". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powers_of_Ten This one goes both into space and into the atomic structure. Really worth a watch.
