In solving the problems you posted, just use the Distributive property of multiplication, that is, distribute or multiply the number outside the parentheses to each of the numbers inside.

Be careful with the signs, though. Like signs yield a positive sign, while unlike signs negative.

1.- x(8 + x)
-8x - x^2

2. a(a - 2)
a^2 - 2a

3. (3 + y)y
3y + y^2

4. 4(10 - 3x)
40 -12x

5. (16 + 3t)t
16t + 3t^2

6.(4s + 3)(-5)
-20s -15

These all demonstrate the distributive law.
So you need to multiply the term outside the
parentheses by both of the terms inside
the parentheses. For example:
1) -x(8+x) = (-x)(8) + (-x)(x) = -8x - (x^2)
2) a(a-2) = (a)(a) - (a)(2) = a^2 - 2a

etc.

just multiply and you get as follows:
1> -8-x squared (-8-x^2)
2> a squared-2a (a^2-2a)
3> 3y+ y squared (3y+y^2)
4> (40-12x)
5> 16t+3t squared (16t+3t^2)
6> (20s-15)

hey I feel that you should do the questions yourself, I have been answering the questions, but all of them are exactly like the previous. If you just understand the method of solving one question, you should be able to do the rest. Ask your teacher or sit with one of your friends and try to do them. Take it as a challenge and I am sure you will do it. All the best.
