First off i want to say that i have no issue with guys being gay (dont want to offend anyone) but one of my close guy friends only hangs out with girls. He is never around guys ever. Could he be gay? Maybe im wrong but usually guys hang out guys sometimes at least. He always hangs out with girls on the weekends and drives around with us and stuff. Is he or no?

It's possible..however there are many guys who don't come into their prime until later. A lot of times guys feel intimidated by other guys because maybe they just are naturally more feminine and feel more comfortable with girls. If he ends up being gay, it shouldn't be because you or anyone else encouraged him or pushed him to be gay, it should be because he decides who he really is. In the mean time, don't waste your time liking him as more than a friend and just try to be the best friend you can be.

Well it could be alot of things. He could just be going through a phase, who knows. You can usually tell if a guys gay by the way he talks and dresses. If he talks girlie, or if he dresses way to preppy with the whole layered polo look then he most likly is. If hes hanging out with the girls on the weekend maybe he wants to be STUDLY! You should wait a while and see if he comes out. Or you could randomly ask him if he likes any girls that you could hook him up with!

No, the reason he hangs out with girls is because he LIKES girls. If he was gay, he would be hangin out with the other gay guys. All the gay guys at our school bunch up. I don't think any of them have even talked to a girl before. LOL

He probably just likes girls better than guys. I know a guy like that...always hanging around the girls. And I KNOW he isn't gay. In fact...he's getting more action than anyone I know.

Personaly the way you described it he is probalbe just a ladies man. I actually have a guy friend who loves hanging around girls better than guys but he is not gay. I"m sure he will find some guy friends soon if thats what bothers you. You can always help him find some. Hope this helps.

No way to tell. Most men use non-verbal cues, but men who prefer to communicate verbally often hang out with women, since they are also strong verbal communicators. I did the same thing for years - all the macho crap irritated me, since I feel no need to prove how tough or manly I am. I've been married for a total of 11 years, and I'm pure hetero - just ask my wife!

Would it make any difference in your friendship? It sounds like he just likes to hang out with girls. Maybe he's just not interested in sports and other stuff guys like so he feels like he doesn't fit in.

hes either gay, or he wants a girlfriend, and best friends make the best boyfriends...to some girls. Maybe he's a perv and is building up to getting invited to a slumber party, where he plans on working his magic.
