XP Pro guest profile?

Question

how can the guest profile on my lap top dail up an internet connection? The icon is on the desk top of the guest profile log in. The icon says it is dailing but it doesn't communicate with the modem. I've looked thru my admin stuff & found nothing to fix this.

to test and see if the modem works dial a number like a house or cell if it does nit respond witha dil tone..then you can go into the phone and modem properties in control pannel make sure the modem is there and the driver is installed..if not run the diagnostic to load the command set ,save thwen exit ....
