Too bad, Now we know exactly what elements WILL reveal all the proof of collusion, fraud, murder and theft. Too bad there are so many witnesses that the Patriot Act won't even be needed.

And don't bother saying those parts were unnecessary, the war on terror is still going on isn't it? Shouldn't the NEXT president have those same IMPORTANT SPYING POWERS?

Why are you so willing to give up your rights? There must be protections in place or you may be facing an enemy from within as well as from the outside. The President has been given entirely too much power. The balance of power needs to be returned. It is more important now than ever. They can still spy, but there has to be some oversight into these programs and stipulations so that there is no room for the abuse of power.

A supreme court with it's balance newly tilted towards tight constructionism struck down bits of an expansive piece of legislation that granted unprecedented powers to the executive?

It was a federal judge, the Supreme Court is not in session. It was District Judge Victor Marrero appointed by BILL CLINTON in 1999.
