Nothing physical will ever matter in life for long. Only the impact you can have on those physically around you, to be passed down thru time, from a kindness to social riches, those are what matter. Metal will rust or corrode away, paper will dry out and turn to dust, plastics will become brittle and break down, but love, kindness, knowledge, all those that benefit a larger and larger circle of people will slowly integrate itself down time and immortalize you more than any physical statue or gift ever could.

My views on this matter are rather simple. The most important thing concerning life is that you do what you want to do. Don't waste time doing things you don't want to because it's not like you'll get a second chance.
Go with it, make mistakes but at least when you are on your death bed you can have a smile knowing you went with what you wanted. Just think how you'd feel if you're on your death bed thinking "oh, why didn't i do that!!" knowing full well you won't be getting the chance again.

My view of what really matters in life has gone through several revisions the older I get (50+ years).
It seems what really was important to me ten years ago is no longer really that important anymore. What was important to me when I was ten years old is not important anymore when I was forty years old. But I do look fondly back on those days when I had those values I no longer possess. Now I have no patience for younger people discovering those values which I have long grown out of or have become disillusioned.
I think this might explain both nostalgia and the generation gap.

Pursuing something you're really passionate about regardless of others' opinions. If you really like acting, then do it. Your family can have a say in all this, but it all comes down to what you think is best for you. People often miss out on a lot of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities because they think they're not ready or others are blocking their way, but "there's no day but today", so take it while you've got the chance. That's what I think matters in life.

The biggest things that matters in life are (1) family, (2) friends, and (3) having fun and being happy at the same time. Families and friends provide companionship, advice, a shoulder to cry on, and they listen and make you feel good about yourself. Having fun is the best way to go on with life while being happy is an emotion that has the best feeling and unites everyone.

I think that what really matters in life is what you do with your own life. I think it's important to make the most of the life you are given; to appreciate it and to make the best use of your time on Earth.
The best way to do this is to strive to do the best you can in all situations and to act with kindness and generosity whenever you can. When you don't act this way, I think it is a waste of your life.
Why waste time worrying, hating people, being miserable about situations - make the most of the life you are given. That is what matters in life!
When you leave this Earth, the impact your life has had on the world matters. If you waste it away as if your life doesn't matter, you are abusing the gift that you have been given.

I try to find out what matters to God and He wants me to have a great family, to work, to help others and to love all without judging. Reaching the end of the race having tried to do my best for Him is what matters most to me.

it's not about me, it about touching other lifes for the better.
the legacy that you leave in other people's lives that will cascade in a flood of lives that has been changed for the better. i'm sure that some one , some where has touched your life for the better, it's just passing it on.
and at some time , somewhere, some one's life has changed for the better then it would all been worth it.
it's easier said then done.
have you touched some one's life today???
God bless,
