first are you exaggerating when you say a week? Maybe she is just trying to find "someone" for you guys. Call her and get her in a public place to analyze this. Be blunt and ask her what should the right answer be, because if my husband is any indication of what a guys answer will be then it should be expected by her. But ask her what her expectation are about that scenerio and take it from there.

perhaps, next time u see her, u should ask her if she didnt like what u answered then why did she ask the question in the first place? if it upset her that much and she really meens something to you, then just appologize and tell her all men are the same and ur being honest.
