check if its right plz ^ ^

5x - 2 (3 - x ) = - ( 4 - x )
5x - 6 - 2x = 4 - x
( 5x - 2x ? )
3x - 6 = 4 - x
+ x + x
4x - 6 = 4
+ 6 + 6
4x = 10
divide by 4
x = 10 / 4

it doesnt look rite to me >:[

andd....

1.5 ( 4x - 2 ) = 2 ( 0.5x - 3.5 )
6x - 3 = 1x - 7
- 1x - 1x
5x - 3 = - 7
+ 3 +3
5x = 4
divide by 5
x = 4/5?
ahh dat dont look rite either><

5x - 2(3 - x) = -(4 - x)
5x - (6 - 2x) = x - 4
5x - 6 + 2x = x - 4
7x - 6 = x - 4
6x = 2
x = 1/3

1.5(4x - 2) = 2(0.5x - 3.5)
6x - 3 = x - 7
5x = -4
x = -4/5

Don't forget that when you multiply a negative and negative, you get positive. You made that mistake in the first problem. Also, you just pretty much didn't multiply the right side by that negative sign. So starting on the first step of solving you did for the first problem:

5x-6+2x=-4+x

It should look like that. Then I'm sure you can solve it from there.

The second one, -7+3 is equal to -4 not positive 4. Other than that, it seems okay.

I might be wrong. I'm doing a rush job. haha.

The math looks ok. If you aren't sure, substitute the value of x back into the original equation and see if you have an equality when the smoke clears.
Is that the way you actually write or are you putting us on? You need help if the answer to the first part is "yes".

The first one is wrong with the first step . . . when you multiply a negative by a negative, it becomes positive; therefore, -(4-x) becomes -4 + x.

second, -7 + 3 does not equal 4.
