my computer is broken, the part the outlet goes into broke. i was wondering...hoe much should it cost me to have someone take info off my hard drive and put it on a new computer without fixing the old? the old computer is a hp and the new is a dell both note books if that maters

Well,, the power thing always goes on laptops/notebooks. It cost about 100. to fix it. If the notebook is worth it. But I think you can also slave that hard drive to a PC and get your data.
