My husband is telling me that Oprah Winfrey is in support of Michael Vick. Oprah's a dog lover and an all around great person, so I just CANNOT believe this. I can't find any reference to it, but he's convinced he saw this on CNN or something....Did anyone else see this? Has she said anything on the subject at all?

i don't believe that Oprah has spoken on the subject at all. however, Whoopi Goldberg apparently was discussing it the other day on The View. I didn't hear it, so I don't know if she was truly supporting or defending Vick, but she was discussing that dog fighting would have been part of the culture where Vick grew up. try searching for Whoopi, and i think you'll find what you husband was referring to.

My husband just told me he heard Oprah defended Vick today.......he knew it would make me jump off the couch and come to the computer to check it out. Please don't let it be true. I've always loved and respected Oprah. Michael Vick is slime.
