Snoop-now that would be a good "what if..." He was the top goalie in the league at the time. Hextall stepped in big not long after, what would he have become and where? The Butterfly effect on them all to be sure.

I was a tot (about four years old) when Pelle Lindbergh tragically lost his life. Nevertheless I am a student of history, and have enjoyed learning about Lindbergh's accomplishments. Heck, I would even dedicate a "What if...?" to him if I got more positive feedback on the other ones.

Sorry, but I have no sympathy for drunk drivers. Not even for my baseball team's old manager, Billy Martin. If Lindbergh was as talented as you believe -- and he had to have been better than the continually disappointing Ron Hextall -- then he owed it to himself and his team to call a friend or a cab that night. It was a terribly sad thing, especially since it happened in my home State (although at the other end of it, the Philly end), but he brought it on himself.

The Flyers should put a Number 31 next to a designated-driver ad at the Whatever Bank Bought Out the Last One Center, as a reminder to everyone: Do NOT drink and drive.

Atlas: Clau-DEE! Hextall STILL hasn't seen that wobbler!

God I loved how Claude Lemiuex owned Hextall to advance to the Finals.

Not a big Philly fan, maybe sticking my nose where it doesn't belong, but...

That shows class. Both the site and posting it for the rest of us. Thanks.
