What you need is this; To know you are attempting to learn to ride racing style in traffic with vehicles out weighting you by thousands and are unforgiving. Grave yards and empty Mothers Hearts are full of these kind already.
You have to brace your feet to the rear and get your upper weight forward to hold down the bike. Learn what's the Max you can rise up without passing the center of gravity.
I'll say a pray for you

Dude, if you're a new rider, take it easy until the bike becomes an extension of your brain and body. The majority of MC accidents happen to new riders.
Fast takeoffs are a combination of throttle and clutch control. I suggest you practice away from traffic until you get the feel for how much throttle vs. how much slip is required to take off the way you want without flipping the bike in an unintentional wheelie.

I think you should take a basic rider course . thats a pretty powerful machine you are riding. You need to respect it and harness its power. You have a lot of idiots on the road. You should practice in an empty parking lot, were you won't get hurt or hurt anybody else. Like i said you should take a few classes its worth every penny.I'll be taking them soon its like three days. please don't be an ****** and get yourself killed buy trying too take off fast in an intersection thats were most accidents happen

u better start showin traffic the respect it deserves, or its gonna splatter ur squidly butt all over the pavement. it's a dangerous jungle out there with inattentive cell phone cagers, and any 1 of them could have yer name impacted on their front bumper. u've obviously have zero respect for the machine....and very soon, the bike is gonna get u smoked. only squids ask things like this. it's very obvious u have no clue how to really ride, otherwise, u'd be showing respect on the street. 1 car will turn u into pizza dough....and it wont take much speed to do it either. speed will kill u. take speed to the track, not in the street.

Maybe the question to pose is "slowest you can go on a motorcycle without falling off?. I enjoy watching and participating in slow races as it really proves who is a better motorcyclist.

First off, they are ridden - not driven. There is a big difference.
Second, fast take offs can be deadly.
Third, you do not need speed to enter an intersection. You need caution.

You'll learn to move your left hand off the clutch lever and your right hand on the throttle in time, with practice and experience.
Don't overdo it on the acceleration. You're vulnerable to road oil puddles at that time. Every time my rear tire slips, it scares the bejeez out of me.

If your going to do it make sure you RPM's aren't too high when you drop the clutch or you'll do a wheelie and fall off and hurt yourself.
Practice far away from traffic like a closed off parking lot. Not gravel.

One of the surest ways to get "T Boned"
is to try to be the first to jump across the
intersection.
.........Seen it too many times.
You're a new rider.
Stay cautious and don't do dumb things.
