Well I have a 67 mustang and the emergency brake doesn't work and when its in park it rolls, you can hear clicking and it puts up some resistance but isnt very hard to move when in park. Is this a very hard part to replace or expensive?

The moving in park problem might just be misadjusted shift linkage. That's easy. But it's probably a broken park pawl in the transmission. You have to take the transmission apart to fix that.
The emergency brake problem is different. That's just a cable that works the rear brake shoes. The cable can be bad or loose, or the brake shoes can be badly out of adjustment. You need to check the rear brake shoes and do a brake job if needed. Then you can check out the emergency brake.

Hold on now, and don't jump to conclusions! The problem seems to be "only" an adjustment. As a rule, when you can hear the clicking of the parking paw, it's usually not broke. It's simple to adjust and test. The procedure is quite simple, but it does require raising the car and going under it. Very unsafe.....! Best to take it to your local garage or gear head friend. It only takes 5 minutes to adjust and test. Not a very expensive adjustment, and some mechanics won't even charge their steady customers for such a simple adjustment. Have a nice day! ...Roy

None of my cars have working parking brakes, I just put them in first gear. I also carry some chocks with me so that when I park on a hill I can chock all the wheels. That's what they do with airplanes to keep them from rolling off.
