I remember wanting to cancel my wedding which was two weeks later... I felt guilty being so happy when the country was turned upside down. Plus I was worried about the out of town guests who were flying in.

I remeber hearing about it on the Radio just after my 2 kids had left for school it was my day off work . I turned on the tv only minutes after the second plane hit the second tower .. then it was realized this was no accident ....
i remember getting in the FAA website back then you could look at the ait traffic radar online it was cool watching as they were landing all the thousands of planes that were in the air at the time of the hijackings ...
Some where in there i also remeber hearing about the plane hitting the pentagon......
and the one that was over cleveland ohio at the time the one that later crashed into the field in pennsulvania
then alittle later the government must have sent one of their destructive viruses out over those online in sensitive spots like the FAA website because my computer crashed shortly after that with a virus i was unable to recover it from until 2 days later ....
I was watching all the terror and people on TV then remember then saying that people were jumping and the heat was becoming unbareable on the upper floors ...
then i was on my way taking my cat to the vet and hear them say on the radio that the first tower has fallen .....
then on my way home from taking the cat to the vet they had said the second tower was now down .. and they would find what terror suspects did this ......
Then all the pictures of the buring towers the thick dust all the missing persons posters .............\
the firefighters sifting through the remaning reckage looking for any survivors and recovering bodies for months after that ....

That three planes flew into buildings and caused a lot of people to die or be seriously injured. I remember seeing on television people jumping out of the buildings trying to get out alive. I remember seeing the big cloud of black smoke and people running for their lives. I remember hearing about people that worked trying to rescue people at ground zero and got serious lung damage because of what was in the smoke not being able to get medical assistance later for free. It's a day that I will remember the rest of my life. It's affects us and will for all of eternity.

I remember being at work. It was a factory, somewhat loud, but they always had the radio on. That day, there was no music, only talk, and you could barely hear it. Everyone was wondering what was going on. Management didnt bother telling anyone. Nobody knew until around noon. I didnt have anyone in NY to worry about, but there was a couple people there who did, and they got fired for leaving. Nice, huh?

I remember being very much in love and actually making love while it was going on.

Of course, later that morning we learned of the twin towers.
I remember that it was a very sad thing to have happen here in the states.

I remember seeing (on television) a man and a woman in a dark skirt and blouse who held hands and chose to jump rather then die in the building. I wish I had never seen that indelible image because it haunts me to this day. Who were they, where did they jump from, did their families see the same video, what was their story? It was the most memorable scene from that whole horrible day.

I was in 4th grade...And I remember, my teacher turned the tv on and we watched it...then we had to stay inside for recess, and my mom came to the school so she could be with us

After words we went to my grandmas house and just watched in horror, well, not really me, because I wasn't old enough to really understand....but, yes, I remember that entire day

I can say that is one day that I can remember EVERYTHING I was doing.
After the second hit, my friend and I went to all of the schools to get our kids, bought TONS of water, and sat in front of the t.v.
I live in NY on the Hudson, and they practically flew over my house.
weird........
