These are just my own. But, one is Landau Movements, the way humans move in crowds, like in time lapse photography of a train station. I am fascinated with studying those time lapse movements of humans and comparing them to similar film of other animal species' movements, such as cattle or buffalo grazing patterns. During WWII, the Nazis did horrible experiments on these kinds of group social movements. Anyway, the other area of sociology that interests me is urban studies related to stuff like population densities that are healthy and which cause cities to collapse, how far apart communities tend to form, WHERE they tend to form, like the colonies of bacteria in a petri dish, what natural resources nearby sustain healthy communities, which natural settings correlate with the lowest suicide rates in a city, and other such relationships between a community and the environment, especially water resources. For example, a considerable reason for the fall of the Roman Empire was due to lead in their drinking water pipes. And, the fall of the Anasazi mega-city, Chaco in New Mexico was largely due to over dependence on rain water and cisterns alone . . .no surface water / rivers / lakes / glaciers, etc., so that when the climate changed to dryer conditions, the city fell and Pueblo Indians emerged from the remnants of those ancient ones.

Another way to anwser your question is that YOU need to determined what INTEREST YOU! Thats the amazing thing about sociology and if you extent yourself a little pyschology is that its so BROAD, with that said you just need to do a little searching around on your own to your find a human phonana that interest you, then investigate. No one can really determined whats going to interest YOU, your an individual with your own perception and ideas, so that would be a bad assumption for me to believe you'd be interested in the same stuff I'm in this field....
