Like I of 3R_ it would be 3._ How would u do that?

It would depend on the divisor. For example, 9 divided by 2 would give you 4R1. You then take the remainder and divide it by the divisor, so 1/2 = 0.5.

Keep adding more zeros to the remainder. The remainder was 5. Make it 50 and divide by 7. Just keep doing it as far as you want. Don't forget any further numbers come after the decimal point.

you have to complete the problem

like suppose you divide 8 into 12
with a remainder your answer would be 1 R4
to get a decimal
put a decimal point on the right of 12 and add a zero to the right
now bring down the zero and continue dividing by 8

so now 8 into 12.0 = 1.5 no remainder
