I think that if you are not from the USA, generally this is funny.
If you are from the USA, you would most likely want to go to war with the country of Comedia.
(trust me, they cant find their own country on a map)

The Chaser guys have become Australia's national heroes. They have made us laugh so hard when we really needed it.
Sydneysiders have been fuming about having their beautiful city turned into a caged, exclusionary, high-risk hell-hole, with snipers aiming at shoppers, to the tune of $330m for nearly a week just so our arrogant leader can show off the pretty sights and throw a big lavish party to these dignitaries.
They are just here to talk and do their jobs, not have a $330m holiday at our expense... with $7m spent just to take animals out of our zoo to put on an island for them to have a private petting session! Outrageous.
Why should such a high security risk like APEC with added George Bush be held in the heart of Australia's highest population zone? Why not hold it in our remote capital city or the Northern Territory? It's a disgrace that this drama is being played out before an election to get us all feared up. Australians praise Chaser for exposing what a joke it all is and making our arrogant leader look like the contemptuous con artist that he really is.
Praise you Chaser! We love you! xxx

I think Australia is in danger - I saw the Chasers show us that skit were Americans identified Australia as Iran and how to invade. They could find Comedia on a map........................... but then hell, maybe they would identify their own by mistake.
Thanks goodness for the majority of US citizens who realise what an insane guy their leader is. Surely they are laughing just as hard.
I think Howard has embarressed us so much as "Bush's bestest buddy" that we owe a huge debt to the Chasers to show we are not a country full of wan.ers. Restore our national pride!

I was so expecting a prank from The Chaser boys over APEC they are very funny and everyone is fair game to them.
The security team should be thanking them for showing how easy it was to breach security and be thankful it wasn't the real Osama.

I think it is hilarious, too. Especially since one of them was dressed as Osama bin Laden.
Bush's advance team deserves all the harassment they get. They have been pulling this city-wide photo-op in the US for years - no critics within 5 miles of Bush, ever, or they get arrested.

Not to dash your good laugh but there is another consideration here. Every time anyone violates a secure area, manages to slip through and then publicizes it, they are providing a little more critically important intelligence to the enemy. Surely you must realize that no level of security can be 100% impregnable 100% of the time. Security personnel are only human and they occasionally screw up, slack off, get tired, have a bad day whatever.
It is unfortunate that such information is freely handed over to the terrorists. Did you not hear about a rash of people suddenly caught carrying what could only be described as dummy explosive device parts through air port security in the USA? They had things like blocks of cheese with wires sticking out (looks like plastic explosives on the X-ray machine) and clock parts and timing devices etc. Why do you think this is?
Several people including children from Middle Eastern countries who have names exactly the same as wanted terrorists suddenly start traveling to western countries. Why? to see if they get challenged, that's why.
They were doing it as a test. They were testing to see if the airport screeners discovered them or not. Reciently several people were seen video taping ferry boats and bridges etc. in plain sight of others just to see if anyone challenged them. They are among us and they are probing, looking for weaknesses.
So, no. I fail to see the humor in it.
