I recenly bought a microwave online and when I opened the box I noticed that the styrofoam that was next to the microwave left a sticky residue behind on the microwave maybe due to heat. But I was wondering what is the best method to remove this residue without damaging the microwave?

rubbing alcohol or WD40 will work, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe off

I'm a big fan of WD40 ! Carefully scrape off what you can and spray on the WD40 ,let sit several minutes ,wipe off with a dry cloth , repeat if necessary . Good luck!!!!!
